Wissem Ammar is an ambitious self driven upcoming children’s author. Born and raised in Algeria by two parents who prioritized learning, reading, and self-discipline, she finished her university studies in Algeria, then moved to Scotland in her early 20s where she discovered her real passion, while volunteering as a Headteacher for a local Islamic school. Because of the lack of resources and volunteers, she had to take up multiple roles including teaching young children, which she found to be the most enjoyable and fulfilling endeavor. Since then, Wissem has lived in various places around the world, including Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia and the Middle East. She remains unwavering in her dedication to teaching Islamic values to young children by joining local organizations or creating her own groups and communities. She firmly believes that Islamic values should be readily available for Muslim youth at all times, and that it is the duty of every parent and educator to ensure this. Her role as an educator, mother, and teacher has never hindered her pursuit of knowledge in various fields, including the Quran, teaching methods, family and children’s counseling, and self-improvement. She is committed to continuous learning and shows no sign of stopping. In 2020, she earned qualification from the Saudi Eastern Province Organization for Alquran Alkareem, an affiliate of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs. She considers this to be the most significant achievement of her life. From a young age, Wissem has been passionate about reading books, writing, and collecting stories and poems. Story writing and telling have always been integral to her teaching journey. Finally, she has taken the bold step to publish her first children’s book, with the determination to produce many more. She is resolute in her mission to revitalize and instill beautiful Islamic values in the Ummah and particularly in the youth.
